WIBTA For Leaving my Fiancé Because He Wants a Baby with his EX?
Caught in the shadow of a tragic past, she struggles to find her place between love and loss. Her fiancé, Greg, is bound to his ex-wife Gemma by a grief so profound it has blurred the lines of their new beginning. The silence she feels is heavy, filled with unspoken fears and the haunting presence of a shared sorrow that refuses to let go.
Every anniversary of their lost child unravels the fragile balance of their lives, as Gemma’s pain invades the space meant for healing and hope. She watches helplessly as Greg becomes a lifeline to a ghost she cannot compete with, her heart tethered to a past that threatens to drown the future she’s desperately trying to build.

As renowned relationship expert Esther Perel explains, 'Grief is a profound expression of love. When we are afraid of our own feelings, we often fear the feelings of others.' In this scenario, the fiancé (Greg) appears to be using the shared grief with his ex-wife (Gemma) as a primary justification for maintaining an inappropriate level of emotional and physical intimacy, effectively creating a triad where the fiancée is perpetually marginalized.
Greg's behavior—from allowing constant contact to spending the anniversary night with Gemma and crashing on her couch—indicates a severe failure to establish or enforce personal boundaries. The suggestion of having a child with Gemma, framed as a path to 'closure' and an end to her dependency, crosses a fundamental ethical line in commitment. This action suggests Greg is prioritizing managing Gemma's mental health crisis over his responsibility to his fiancée, likely stemming from unmanaged guilt or codependency related to the initial tragedy. The fiancée's reaction of throwing the ring was an understandable, albeit extreme, boundary enforcement against a proposal that negated her future with him.
The fiancée's actions were appropriate given the severity of the betrayal; however, future interactions must involve clear, non-negotiable boundaries regarding Gemma's presence. Greg needs professional counseling to address the underlying grief and dependency issues before this relationship can move forward ethically. The fiancée should insist on couples counseling focused on defining the relationship's future structure, independent of Gemma's emotional state.
HERE’S HOW REDDIT BLEW UP AFTER HEARING THIS – PEOPLE COULDN’T BELIEVE IT.:
This one sparked a storm. The comments range from brutally honest to surprisingly supportive — and everything in between.

The original poster is facing an extreme emotional conflict rooted in her fiancé's ongoing, intense involvement with his ex-wife, particularly concerning the shared tragedy of a stillbirth. Her tolerance, driven by fear of causing harm to the mentally unstable ex, directly clashes with her fundamental needs for security and primacy in her current relationship, leading to a severe breach of trust.
Given that the fiancé suggested discussing the possibility of having a child with his ex-partner for 'closure,' the core question is whether this proposal represents a necessary act of compassion and support, or an irreconcilable betrayal of his commitment to his fiancée. Does the duty to support a grieving person outweigh the duty to protect a committed romantic partnership?

AITAH For reclaiming my pregnancy snacks and not telling people about the pregnancy?
I am currently 14 weeks pregnant and have not told many people at work aside from HR, my direct supervisor, and a few close colleagues. It is not widely known that I am pregnant and I have been wearing baggy clothes as I wanted to wait a good amount of time before announcing it. My issue is that I now have limited foods I can eat and keep snacks at my desk so I can nibble throughout the day. I had a bowl of mixed fruit snacks (Welches and Albanese) and recently found out that I cannot eat the Welches because my blood sugar reacts more to them. I had yet to sort out the bowl and left it out for two days on the back of my desk. A coworker walked behind me, assumed I was in a meeting, and started taking them. I felt weird and did not say anything in the moment. I waited until after she left to sort out the fruit snacks and decided to be nice and put out the bowl in a shared area with the Welches since I will not be able to eat them. A week later, a different coworker was complaining loudly by my desk that someone had sorted the fruit snacks and taken all the good ones, leading me to believe multiple people were taking my snacks without asking. I normally keep them in my cabinet but forgot to put them away and was gone the following day. Since I pay for them myself, I am wondering if I overreacted by taking away the fruit snacks I can eat, or if I should stop keeping snacks at my desk entirely.

AITAH after kicking my boyfriend out for calling my daughter a snitch and spoiled brat?
I have been dating my boyfriend for a couple of years now. I have an eight-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, and he has a four-year-old son. My boyfriend and I have always bumped heads on parenting styles and discipline. He believes his son is too young to know better, but says my daughter should already know how to act, calling her disrespectful and spoiled. My daughter's father is in jail and no longer in her life, so she craves a father figure, but my boyfriend refuses to show her affection, calling it weird. Recently, he called her a spoiled brat for leaving her plate on the table and a snitch for reporting his son's behavior. When I saw my daughter cry, I asked him to apologize, but he refused. I kicked him out of my house, and now he claims I am being too dramatic.

AITA for asking my wife to wear a big shirt during sex ?
My wife is the love of my life. I think she has a great body and I also think she's amazing in bed. We almost always have sex fully naked. I love seeing all of her body. The thing is, I also think it is very sexy when a woman is only wearing a shirt. I asked my wife if she could wear a big shirt during sex, for one time. She asked me if it's because of her weight. I was quick to tell her no. I told her I love her, she's gorgeous, and she's amazing in bed. She is at the same size now as she was when I married her. I told her nevermind about the shirt idea. She asked me if I want her to hide her belly. I said no. I said it wasn't about hiding stuff. It was just like a fun fantasy. She still looks sad. Am I the asshole?
